Vermont Wood Studios really impressed with their collection of sustainable furniture. You can really tell that each piece was hand crafted with love and care. I can know when I am buying their product that it will last generations. I am also a huge fan of VWS's desire to be sustainable business. The people at Vermont Wood Studios could sell you furniture on friendliness alone, but when it comes down to the final product, they don't slack on quality and value. I highly recommend Vermont Wood Studios!
I just received my cherry moon bed and it is everything I had hoped for and more! The shippers were friendly and on time, and they even brought my bed in and set it up for me. I get such a good feeling from knowing that my bed came from a company with such a strong commitment to sustainability and american craftsmanship. Thank you!
Good craftsmen. Careless business people.
-- they did not keep their delivery schedule promise. Not even close.
-- they did not communicate their delays to me. They made me inquire, then blamed their shipper or the weather -- neither terribly helpful.
They are not great to work with however and have a fairly indifferent attitude towards customers. Specifically:
-- a week after I ordered an item, they put it on sale but would not honor the new price. Their cancellation provisions meant that I was penalized hundreds of dollars for ordering earlier.
Great furniture. I love the work these folks do and am a repeat customer.
